Prophecy is a social entertainment and forecasting platform. It is not a gambling service, casino, sportsbook, exchange, or broker.

All betting on Prophecy uses play-money points that have no real-world monetary value. Points cannot be purchased, sold, traded, exchanged, or redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, goods, services, or anything of value.

Prophecy does not process, hold, transmit, or facilitate money transfers of any kind. Prophecy is not registered with or regulated by the CFTC, SEC, or any state gambling commission.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to create an account or use Prophecy. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Prophecy is operated from and intended for use in the United States. Users outside the United States access the platform at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.

Points are provided for entertainment purposes only. Prophecy makes no guarantees about point balances, market outcomes, or scoring accuracy. Most markets are resolved by community vote.

Users are responsible for the content of the markets they create. Prophecy reserves the right to void markets or suspend accounts that violate community standards.

The following types of markets are prohibited:

• Markets that target specific non-public individuals for harassment, humiliation, or doxxing
• Markets involving illegal activity or that encourage illegal behavior
• Markets about minors' personal lives
• Markets that promote violence, self-harm, or harm to others

Prophecy reserves the right to remove any market, comment, or content and to suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, without prior notice.

You are solely responsible for your use of Prophecy, including the markets you create, the predictions you make, and any comments you post. You agree to use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prophecy and its operators, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

Prophecy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Prophecy or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of points, market voiding, scoring inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Prophecy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Prophecy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Prophecy collects the following information: your name, email address, authentication provider data, and prediction activity (markets created, bets placed, votes cast, comments posted). This data is used solely to operate the platform, display leaderboards, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Aggregate, anonymized market data (implied probabilities, bet counts) may be displayed publicly. Individual bet details are governed by each market's visibility setting.

Account deletion:You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Upon deletion, all personally identifiable information is removed. Bet data is retained as “Deleted User” to preserve market integrity. Point balances are forfeited.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal data). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
